About

We’re a member-run cooperative located in Philmont, NY. We were established in 2017 after taking over the former for-profit Purpose Coworking space.

We’re good neighbors

Members come from all over the Hudson Valley. We engage with the surrounding community via free programs and by donating space and providing visibility to local organizations.

We wash our own mugs

Members build, maintain, clean, and fix things to keep costs down and build sweat equity. We embrace cooperative anarchy and make decisions slowly and intentionally.

Portable Projects

Bring your nomadic side-projects and hang out with other craftspeople. Drawing, printing, painting, stone carving, whittling, knitting, sewing, etc.
Wednesday 5:30p - 7:30p

Ceramics

Learn how to throw pottery on a wheel or just noodle around with  lumps of clay. $10 suggested donation.
Thursday 6:00p - 7:00p


Membership

All members get desk space and use of our conference room, kitchen, and communal spaces. Members are invited to monthly social events and presentations. Internet and printing are included.

Requirements

  • 3 months minimum commitment
  • 1 month cancellation notice
  • Choose a volunteer job

How to Join

  1. Review membership requirements and amenities.
  2. Email a brief statement about why you want to join and how you plan to use the space. Include a brief CV or bio and a link to your work, if applicable.
  3. Current members review info and invite potential members for a chat.
  4. We let you know if you’re approved and send you a sign up link!

Day Rate

Drop in for a day! All member amentities are included. Sign up here and a door code will be sent to you afterwards. 24 hours notice required for first timers.
